I recently received an email from Betsy Allen that asked a question about marketing initiatives that I get all the time:
“What income generating marketing activities should I be doing on a daily basis to get more speaking business?”
In episode #61 of The Wealthy Speaker Podcast, I’m answering this question and sharing 15 Marketing Initiatives that you can add to your marketing strategy to help you book more speaking business.
These 15 #marketing initiatives – if done right – will help you book more #speaking #business! Click to tweet
From blogging and podcasting to social media engagement to creating new products, there are thousands of marketing activities that every speaker can take part in. But as many of you know, trying to do too much of a lot of different things too often typically results in doing a lot of stuff just okay.
It’s important to have a strategy around your marketing initiatives. I find it is easier to concentrate on just a few marketing initiatives at a time. This will keep you focused and allow you the ability to truly test and track the results of what you are doing so that you can tweak it, if needed, for better results.
Before you start listening to the podcast, scroll down to the podcast resources section and get your download of the 15 Marketing Initiatives Checklist. I’ll be walking through each of the initiatives and providing guidelines and ideas that you’ll want to jot down.
Once you have a marketing initiative in place that is running and producing the results you want, you can move on to the next one and go through the process again. Just remember that your marketing should, and will, evolve as your business does. So always be analyzing and measuring your results and making changes where needed.
I hope you enjoy this episode!
